Shipping, Returns & Refunds
Our 14-day happiness guarantee
Every plant is covered for 14 days from the day it arrives. If it turns up damaged, or it simply isn't what you expected, email hello@plantclub.ca within 14 days with your order number and a photo, and we'll replace it or refund you.
Please hold on to the plant and the packaging until we've been in touch — the carrier sometimes asks to see them.
Covered: broken stems, crushed or missing leaves, root rot, pests, the wrong plant, a missing item, and damage to pots or accessories.
Not covered: a couple of dried or yellowing lower leaves, which are normal on any plant and pull off easily; soil on the leaves, which washes off at the first watering; and small differences in shape, size or colour from the photo, because no two plants grow the same way.
Returning pots, tools and accessories
Unused non-plant items can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, in their original packaging. Email us first and we'll send you the return address. Return shipping is at your cost, as is any damage that happens on the way back to us.
Live plants can't be returned by post — they don't survive two trips in a box — which is why the guarantee above settles things with a replacement or a refund instead.
Changing or cancelling an order
Email hello@plantclub.ca within 48 hours of ordering and we'll change or cancel it, as long as it hasn't already shipped.
Where we ship
Within Canada only. Orders travel with Canada Post, UPS or FedEx, and you'll get tracking as soon as yours leaves us. Orders are usually packed and shipped within 3 to 5 business days, depending on availability.

Local pickup and delivery
Pickup is free and usually ready within 24 hours — choose it at checkout. Local delivery is a flat $15 within 60 km of the shop.
Our largest plants are pickup or local delivery only. They don't travel well as parcels, so we'd rather hand them to you in one piece.
Hot and cold weather
Plants are living things and extreme temperatures are hard on them. In the colder months you can add a 96-hour heat pack to your order for protection in transit. Whatever the season, bring your parcel inside as soon as it arrives rather than leaving it on a doorstep, and unpack it straight away.
